Scheduled Care:

As a scheduled care customer you will have a regularly scheduled visit from a Covalent Systems Group consultant who will manage your network, and address important IT issues before they become critical. We use the checklist below when working at all of our clients' sites. Simple methods such as this checklist help us maintain and manage networks with a high degree of efficiency.

Check in with main contact and review e-mail requests that were sent to the helpdesk. The client contact will usually have a list of tasks that Covalent needs to look at as well.

Look at Covalent's ongoing project list for the quarter (usually generated during a quarterly review) and coordinate those tasks into the visit.

Review workstations and servers to ensure they are running the most up to date security patches and service packs from Microsoft.

Check log files on server for errors and warnings. Review of these logs are the key to early warning and prevention of larger issues with servers.

Before leaving, consultants will type up a visit report that details the tasks that were addressed during the visit as well as the tasks that may still be remaining. There is also a notes section of this e-mail that provides the consultant a forum to address additional concerns or upcoming events (such as server reboots) for the client.
